I took the cap off, and it’s really not that loud, at least not louder than a vette or an old muscle car. Also, it sound pretty much just like stock but louder. Less rasp the I thought there’d be. I did drive 20 minutes just to go through a tunnel, and oh man that was awesome.  Video eventually.

I was thinking of doing that on the Z. I used hi he muffler that came wit it and during acceleration it has a nice sound. But could it be better?

i considered this on a car i used to have. then i thought about the exhaust exiting right under where i would be sitting. it was a rather porous car however.

do you notice exhaust coming up through the floorboards or through the side windows?

Nope, though I tend to drive with all the windows open for maximum loud. This actually exits under the back window. I might add one of these for extra style and to get the exhaust a little further out.
